New Dopharma team members
Recently our Dopharma team has been extended with three veterinarians. A short introduction.
Bert Cornelis – Technical Support (per 01-11-2017)
My name is Bert Cornelis. I come from the south of Holland and used to work in a mixed veterinary practice for over 20 years as an owner. After that I was for one year a veterinary consultant and worked with Ripac on autogenous vaccines.
Since November last year I joined the Technical Support Team of Dopharma. I advise on autogenous vaccines and my main interest is swine. Aside of this I want to get acquainted with the fish business.
Marcel Boereboom – Area Manager (per 22-11-2017)
Since 2012 I am co-owner of Poultry Practice the Achterhoek (PPDA), a veterinary poultry practice located at Ruurlo in the east part of the Netherlands. Our company is involved in the full range of the poultry industry: ducks, turkeys and chickens (meat as well as egg type) in the Netherlands, Germany and PPDA consultancy is mainly active in Russia, East-Europe and Middle-East. Personally, I am responsible for the business in the Netherlands with attention for two major customers, Agromix & Pluriton ter Heerdt. As a co-owner I am responsible for H&R, finance and relationship with key players in the Dutch poultry industry.
As a veterinarian, I am always looking for new opportunities and to broader my knowledge. For many years we have been a client of Dopharma in the Netherlands and I believe that Dopharma’s mission “dedicated to healthy livestock” is a good basis to work together in the animal industry. As a poultry veterinarian with the experience of implementation of the Dutch model (prudent use of antibiotics) and my responsibility as an Area Manager at Dopharma I am looking forward to meet you in the future.
Erik Pieke – Global Marketing Director (per 01-01-2018)
I am Erik Pieke, I will be 59 this year, I have two grown up children (26 and 28) and I am living in Almere, the polder far below the sea level! I have a degree in Physiotherapy and Veterinary Medicine. After two years of practice I joined the pharmaceutical industry and have been working there for 26 years in several technical, marketing and general management roles. In 2017 I decided it was time for a new adventure and I joined Dopharma after a few talks with Wijnand.
My role is Global Marketing Director, where I will work together with you all to define the needs and the way to energize and ramp up the marketing efforts to be even more visible and consistent in our markets. Looking forward meeting you all!
